Emevas is a Virginia-based hybrid organization built on one provocation: what if the things we indulge in most became the engine for the change we need most?
We operate three consumer businesses — luxury jewelry, a bar concept, and charitable gaming events — and direct net profits to community causes chosen by our customers at point of sale.
This isn't philanthropy bolted onto a business. The indulgence is the vehicle. The cause is the destination. Every customer is a participant.
The concept draws from Pigouvian economics — the idea that negative externalities can be corrected by pricing them into a transaction. We go further: we don't tax or discourage the indulgence. We sell it, and we let it do good.
We're pre-launch, Virginia-based, and building in public. Our jewelry vertical is live. The bar and gaming verticals follow as we grow.
Emevas LLC is the for-profit operator. The Emevas Foundation is the 501(c)(3) that receives and distributes all profits. Two entities. One mission.
